Once upon a time,

We went to Dinosaur Ridge

and I didn't bring my camera and snapped only 2 photos with my phone,
so this advetnure will be documented once I steal photos from Skyler phones.

Billings, MT

We spent the week exploring Billings, MT.
River & I played and entertained ourselves while Skyler worked.
And this time we brought a long Charlie Dog.
River loved it, Charlie was happy, but I'm not sure we'll be doing that again.
Sorry Charlie, we love you but you're not a good multi-day traveler.
Dog and hotels are tough

Some highlights:

1. Indian Tacos from the Custer Battlefield Trading Post Cafe in Crow Agency. YUMMY!

2. Walking the Black Otter Trail on the Butte in Billings. River loved watching the planes land and take off, Charlie loved the walk, and I loved the fresh air and beautiful views.

3. Pompey's Pillar - Lewis & Clark Expedition. Seeing Clark's signature and River being over the moon about walking Charlie all by himself and also joyously watching trains pass by and blow their horns!

4. Pictograph Cave State Park.

Bear Man

Not only did people see the Elk Rut up in Rocky Mountain, but some lucky few had the privilege of seeing a bear. . . . our little bear man River.

It's not everyday you see a cute little bear cub frolicking with his puppy dog.

I love River's bear hat! Although it's big on cuteness, it's getting a little small on coverage. We'll have to find another one for the coming winter season (i say with a shutter).

Do you know the original bear man, Seth Rogen?
The only way to say "bear man" is will rolling R's.

I am thankful for a tech savy husband who magically hooked up stuff so we could listen to General Conference on our way up to the mountains.
He's so smart and I greatly benefit. :)
