Pioneer Woman

River loves to watch cooking shows with me especially 

Pioneer Woman and Lidia's Italy.

After we watch the show, he tells me "mama turn kahkar", which loosely translated means "mama it's your turn to make cookies".

He loves to sit on the counter and "help" me cook lunches and dinners.

Maybe I have a future Chef on my hands.

{Don't worry it's balanced with lots of his favorite kid cartoons, like Thomas the Train, Octonants (Blah), and Cat in the Hat.}

Dinosaur Ridge

Once upon a time,

We went to Dinosaur Ridge

and I didn't bring my camera and snapped only 2 photos with my phone,

so this advetnure will be documented once I steal photos from Skyler phones.

Haircuts & Lollipops

It was time to get rid of the whirlpool on top, so we went and got River's 2nd haircut.

His favorite part was the lollipop.

Who knew?

Who knew changing sheets could be so much fun??

Wings Over the Rockies - Airplane Museum

We spent our Saturday exploring the Wings Over the Rockies Airplane Museum. River loved running around the planes, pushing buttons, going up and down the ramps, and riding the elevator to the mysterious 3rd floor.
Skyler wore his special shirt for the occasion, you should ask him about it.

When it came time to pick a plane to take home, no matter how we tried to persuade him otherwise, all River wanted was the Continental Commercial Airliner, Just like the ones we always fly in. And he LOVES it!! Seriously hasn't stopped playing with it since we left. He calls airplanes "ZOOMS" and loves to go to the airport and ride them anywhere.

After, on a whim We went to the most amazing place for lunch that's right next door to the museum, Lowry Beer Garden.

They have amazing brats and pretzels, and fried pickles (pregnant lady insisted, thanks sky). Everything was super fresh and it had a fun feel to the restaurant. Definitely a hipster's spot to stop for a bite, but I totl recommend it and would love to go back and try their burgers. Yum!

A Visit from Grandpa Briggs

It was fun to have Grandpa Briggs out for a visit on his way to Bryce Canyon.

River always loves visitors and Charlie quickly welcomed grandpa to the pack.

When Grandpa first arrived River called him "guy",
but by the time he left River was calling him "grandpa".
