Valentines Day at the Zoo & Our Favorite Restaurant

 River & I spent the afternoon with our buddies Harry, Mattix, and Rachel at the Zoo.  River loved being with the boys. I think he liked watching them more than the animals. :)

River's favorite was watching the fish in the aquariums, and walking with Harry holding one of his hands. He kept looking up at Harry and smiling. Pretty Cute.

Then Sky took us to our favorite Restaurant,  

Cafe Ambrosia

it's literally 5 minutes from our house, we could walk there... and it's DELICIOUS!!

Sizzling Rice Soup

General Tao's Chicken

Ham Fried Rice

Shrimp & Green Beans (not on menu)

River and the waitress there have a special relationship. Needless to say, we love her.

I loved spending valentine with my 2 boys. I feel so blessed to have found such an awesome and amazing man to spend my life with, and that we have a cute mini-skyler running around making me laugh too.

Just a quick smile and then upward and onward!

I think our little climber might be destined to become a mountaineer. 

Mmmmm Fruit Bar

River loves himself a Fruit Bar for Breakfast. 

Isn't his "Shark fin" so cute? Love ya to bits little shark bait!

Bath time or rather Splash time!!

River has always loved baths (and being in water in general), but it's has become such fun play time. Tonight he was splashing like CRAZY.

 I felt I was sitting in the splash zone at the Shamu Show.

A Winter Walk

We went on a winter walk through the Cherry Creek Ecological Park

It was a sunny and very windy day. We were out-running a storm blowing in, but we wanted to get out, stretch our legs, and blow the stink off.

I am so glad we found this place. We had a lovely river walk near our apartment in Loveland, where we could let Charlie play and splash in the water, which is his absolute favorite thing to do. We have lots of great trails by our house, but none of them had running water, until now. Charlie must have really missed playing in water, cause he bee-lined it into the creek and no matter how hard Skyler pulled, Charlie was hellbent on getting wet. At first I thought Sky was just letting Charlie do it cause he thought it was funny, so I got mad because we were riding home in my car, but then I took the leash and realized charlie was a mad man on a mission every time we went near water. It was worth it though cause he was one happy puppy. 

Spring can't come fast enough, we're all dying to get out and explore.
