"Stay"-cation

"Stay"-cations are actually a really beautiful thing, when your life gets as crazy as ours was. I LOVED relaxing and exploring close to home with my favorite gang of boys.

Here's some of the things we did:

1. River spent the mornings practicing standing all by himself

2. Butterfly Pavillion

Sky hand to hold River's ands down so he didn't touch the butterflies. :)

It was Crazy Busy inside. We didn't know it but we went on special day and so did everyone else. But River had fun and made some new friends. 

2. We relaxed at home and played with our puppy

4. We went hiking at Castlewood State Park

5. Cuddled up and watched Fun movies together at night.

Much needed time to be together as a family and enjoy each other.

Valentines Day at the Zoo & Our Favorite Restaurant

 River & I spent the afternoon with our buddies Harry, Mattix, and Rachel at the Zoo.  River loved being with the boys. I think he liked watching them more than the animals. :)

River's favorite was watching the fish in the aquariums, and walking with Harry holding one of his hands. He kept looking up at Harry and smiling. Pretty Cute.

Then Sky took us to our favorite Restaurant,  

Cafe Ambrosia

it's literally 5 minutes from our house, we could walk there... and it's DELICIOUS!!

Our Favorties to Order are:

Sizzling Rice Soup

General Tao's Chicken

Ham Fried Rice

Shrimp & Green Beans (not on menu)

River and the waitress there have a special relationship. Needless to say, we love her.

I loved spending valentine with my 2 boys. I feel so blessed to have found such an awesome and amazing man to spend my life with, and that we have a cute mini-skyler running around making me laugh too.

As i look back on my life, I can see in the details, how God brought me to you. 

And I am ever and everyday grateful.

Yes, River is shaking his finger "no, no" but that didn't stop him.

Just a quick smile and then upward and onward!

I think our little climber might be destined to become a mountaineer. 

Mmmmm Fruit Bar

River loves himself a Fruit Bar for Breakfast. 

Isn't his "Shark fin" so cute? Love ya to bits little shark bait!

Bath time or rather Splash time!!

River has always loved baths (and being in water in general), but it's has become such fun play time. Tonight he was splashing like CRAZY.

 I felt I was sitting in the splash zone at the Shamu Show.
