"Zoo-ing" it up in Denver

Such a FUN day at the zoo, although it was hot. Highlights include: Baby Snow leopard leaping around the enclosure, the pizza at the Northern shores, a false orangutan spotting by someone else which took me 10 mins to convince Skyler wasn't really there, the baby orangutan playing and swinging, Skyler's spirit brothers, the monkeys, coming up to the window to greet him, and the little asian girl driving the penguins crazy with the sun's reflection off her camera.

Summer Nights

We love sitting out in the backyard on summer nights, watching the birds and squirrels run around. It's always peaceful and quiet time to share together.

Makes me think of my Grandpa and Grandma Miller. Whenever we'd go over to visit, we'd always find them on the back patio, which was covered with countless patio chairs, so there ways always a seat for all their visitors.

They'd be back there watching the birds splash in their birdbaths and enjoying their beautiful backyard. Grandpa loved being out there.

Also our back neighbors put up a sign  on our fence, wishing us a happy anniversary. Aren't they nice to remember. :)

Celebrating 6 years with this Honey Pie

6 years with this handsome man, and I still can't get enough.

He's my everything.
He's given me so much beauty and happiness, that my heart overflows with them.
He's given me the cutest sweetest little boy, who's just like his Daddy.

Together we are creating a life, with all the ups and downs, that is more wonderful than anything I had ever imagined as a little girl dreaming of her prince charming.

We might look a little older, but you make me feel just as twitter-painted as the first time our eyes met.

I love you Skyler.

Uh-Oh Charlie, River plays back

Remember in the early days when Charlie could hardly wait for River to play with him? He'd bring toys to River as he slept in his bouncer. Well, things have sure changed, and River now plays back and Poor charlie never has a moment to himself to chew on his toys. Nope, River chases him all over the house and wrestles his toys from him (and occasionally chews on them a little if mom isn't quick enough).

Charlie will politely take his toy and move away, but it's not long until River finds him.

Even if Charlie finds a different toy, the game starts all over.

And they both LOVE it!!!! (River a little more than Charlie.)
