Happy Birthday to my Dad

We want to wish my dad a very happy birthday!!

Retired Corporate Lawyer turned children's Ski instructor,
Marathon Runner, Salad Enthusiast, and the Best Grandpa Ever.
I love my dad and I am so proud of him.

My dad always gave me the best of things, especially advice and guidance.
He taught me to think and communicate, he taught me about what is important in life and setting my compass to that. He taught me about high standards and the hard work and diligence to achieve them. He taught me about "barking spiders" and "squeaky floors". He gave me my favorite nickname "lewis" and passed along a love for the titanic theme song. But seriously, I see how his hand formed my life and gave me opportunities to learn and grow that have made all the difference in who I am today.
So thank you dad, you deserve the best birthday!!

2014 - A very exciting year

Who knew that 2014 would be filled with so many opportunities and adventures.
I never imagined we could fit so much into one little year.
Whew, I'm happily exhausted.

Looking at 2015, it feels like quite the blank slate.
But let's see what we can make of it, shall we? :)

Happy Adventuring! :)
